Schedule of Events

The 2009 Festival will be held in its usual place, at the RiverView Rv Park and Resort - the tree grove area on the Vidalia Riverfront.

Admission Friday $3/Saturday $5 per person. Children under 6 get free admittance to the festival.

Vendor area containing food, beverages, arts & crafts, plus Main Stage area with great entertainment, live music, shaded seating area, and plenty of dance room!

The Vidalia Chamber was pleased to present our annual awards, but we bestowed honors on several other people who have helped the Chamber in many ways during the past year. To those we presented Vidalia Chamber of Commerce Diamonds as a small token of our appreciation.

Among those were Finley and Regina Hootsell for their fine efforts to bring a superior Bowie BBQ to the Jim Bowie Festival,
Mayor Hyram Copeland for his assistance in getting the Chamber a new office on Carter Street,
Clara Nell Brown for her volunteerism and help as part of the Comfort Suites management,
and The Bryant O. Hammett Conference and Convention Center for providing their superb facilities for Chamber and City functions.
